On the Turkish-Greek border have detained more than 500 illegal immigrants
On the border of Turkey and Greece have been detained more than 500 illegal migrants.
"The Turkish province of Edirne arrested 534 foreigners who were trying to illegally cross the border with Greece," - said in a statement.
It also reported that the refugees from Syria, Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Algeria, Iran, Tunisia and Bangladesh, among them women and children.
All the detainees were taken to the center for the return of refugees in Istanbul.
Earlier, President of the European Council Donald Tusk proposed the EU to strengthen border of Bulgaria and Turkey.
