In Ukraine, the number of illegal migrants has increased

Among the suppliers of this category of persons in Ukraine are leading post-Soviet countries.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine recorded an increase in the number of illegal migrants who seek to enter the EU through the territory of our country. Among the suppliers of illegal migrants to Ukraine are the post-Soviet countries - Moldova, Russia and Georgia. Oleg Slobodyan, State Committee for the Border Guard speaker, said on the TV.
"Moldova, Russia and Georgia are in the first place. It is in such a sequence. Among these post-Soviet countries, we find the most illegal migrants among those who go to the EU countries and among those who are illegally staying in Ukraine, "Slobodyan explained.
According to him, the number of illegal migrants in 2017 has increased, compared with last year, by 26%.
"Just over two thousand illegal migrants this year have already been arrested. Almost three thousand potential illegal migrants have not been allowed to enter the territory of Ukraine, "Slobodian said.
As previously reported "Comments", in August, the State Migration Service adopted about 1.4 thousand decisions on the forced removal of almost 3.5 thousand illegal migrants.
