Chernivtsi migrants learned to provide medical assistance

The employees of the Department of the DMS in the Chernivtsi region took part in a training on provision of medical assistance on the basis of the Chernivtsi Regional Emergency and Disaster Medicine Center.

Head of the training department Andriy Okhrimovsky gave the representatives of the Migration Service simple and effective advice on critical issues in the first minutes of resuscitation measures until the arrival of physicians. After all, until a fast carriage reaches the place of the call, properly accredited instructors can save somebody's life.

Migratory students learned to stop the bleeding, learned about the algorithm of action during heart attacks, strokes, shock, burns, epileptic, diabetic or hypertensive attacks, foreign objects entering the esophagus or water, etc.

"Such information is extremely important for workers of the migration service," says Oksana Motozyuk, head of the document processing sector. - In the zones of reception of citizens, when queues and large crowds of people are in the queues, different situations may occur. Visitors sometimes jump in pressure or blood sugar levels, possible seizures or even loss of consciousness. Therefore, it is important at this moment not to be lost and to be able to provide first aid to a person. "

To prepare for this type of emergency, employees of the territorial units of the Department of the LCA in the Chernivtsi oblast, which provide administrative services, will have the same training in the district centers.
