Kharkiv region has successfully completed an operation for the detection of foreigners and stateless persons who are illegally staying in Ukraine

From July 13 to July 25, 2017, a prophylactic measure was carried out on the territory of the Kharkiv region to identify foreigners and stateless persons who are illegally staying in Ukraine.

During the practical stage, the staff of the State Customs Department of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region worked on a large number of real and food markets and trading platforms located on the territory of the Kharkiv region.

For the purpose of more effective work during the preventive measure, on the territory of the Kharkiv region, employees of the Ukrainian SSR in the Kharkiv region and employees of the Ukrainian Patrol Police in the Kharkiv region were involved in the completion of the work, in accordance with the signed plans of interaction between the above-mentioned units. In addition, the active participation in the operation was taken by representatives of the public organization "Eastern Corps".

Summing up the results of carrying out a preventive measure on the detection of illegal migrants on the territory of the Kharkiv region, employees of the State Customs Committee of Ukraine have drawn up 376 administrative protocols under Art. 203-206 KUpAP. 168 decisions were taken on the compulsory return of foreign citizens from the territory of Ukraine, of which 49 were accompanied by a ban on entry into the territory of Ukraine. 3 foreign citizens were also placed in the PTPI.

The Department for Combating Illegal Migration of the State Customs Committee of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region continues to work in this direction not only within the framework of the operation in cooperation with employees of other law enforcement agencies of the Kharkiv region. "Fighting illegal migration on the territory of Ukraine is one of the most important priorities in the work of the service as a whole", - noted in the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
