35-year-old citizen of Georgia has already expelled from Ukraine. This was announced by First Deputy Chairman of the National Police of Ukraine - Head of Criminal Police Vadim Troyan.
According to him, on November 4 in Kiev, police detained a 35-year-old criminal "authority", a Georgian citizen named Papuna Ugrekhelidze. The man arrived in Kiev to thieves by "tradition" to obtain the status of "kingpin".
The detainee has several previous convictions. The man repeatedly was serving a sentence in prisons on the territory of Ukraine and beyond its borders. He is known in the criminal world for the systematic commission of serious and very serious crimes, as well as the promotion of "thieves 'traditions' among young people.
Yesterday, on November 4 Papuna Ugrekhelidze was expelled from Ukraine.
"I would like to emphasize that Ukraine - not Russia. We will continue to fight against organized crime, or the criminal authorities "thieves in law", who are trying to influence the criminal world of our state ", - Vadim Troyan said.
Recall that recently the National Police operatives DVB Ukraine detained members of an organized criminal group, controlled by one of the Chechen "thieves in law". Criminals terrorized the inhabitants of Odessa region.
Also recall that the head of the National Police of Ukraine Khatia Dekanoidze urged the Verkhovna Rada to support the activities of the police at the legislative level, in particular - with regard to counter the "thieves in law".
