In Kiev, the Second Regiment of the Patrol Police began its duties
From now on, the Police Regiment No. 2, which includes 600 policemen, will serve three left-bank areas of the capital: Dniprovsky, Desniansky and Darnytsky. The subdivision of the street is Lobachevsky, 23A.
At the same time, the regiment of patrol police №1, which is located on the street of the People's Militia, 9, will continue to serve residents of seven right-bank districts. This unit includes more than 1,5 thousand patrols.
Such a division will allow responding more quickly to offenses and will make the work of the capital's patrols as productive and efficient as possible.
The main purpose of the reorganization is to save time. The patrols will be able to call faster, faster to change. During the division, personal factors are taken into account: those patrols who live on the Left Bank or outside the city will be able to get to work or home sooner.
"This is done in order to improve the logistics of the patrol police in the city of Kiev. From now on, metropolitan patrols will be able to service more challenges, "said Yuri Zozulya, Chief of the Patrol Police in Kyiv.
The Chief Patrol Police Officer of Kiev carried out the first deployment of the newly formed regiment and presented to the personnel of the commander - Colonel Police Oleksandr Bilokur.
