Avrsen Avakov: Ministry of Internal Affairs introduces new service: ordering a certificate of absence of convictions online

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that now the certificate of absence of conviction can be ordered online mode for free, 24/7. Such a certificate is issued by the Information Technologies Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The reference is needed for: employment, visa application when traveling abroad, participation in a tender, adoption of adoption and establishment of guardianship, registration of citizenship, renewal of documents, obtaining a permit for possession of weapons, etc.

"Every year, citizens submit about 800 thousand requests for a certificate. This reference has always been linked to bureaucracy and corruption. The new service eliminates these problems and makes it easy to get services to citizens. From now on, convenient service is available: you can order the help in two clicks online and receive electronic information about the readiness of the document ", - said the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.

Separately, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stressed the certificate of jurisdiction, which is used in most countries of the world, but the procedure for its order is far from everywhere organized in the format of the online service. For example, in high-tech Singapore this service was introduced only last year.

The launch of the service by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine took place jointly with the State Agency for Electronic Government of Ukraine with the support of the EGAP program funded by the Swiss Confederation and implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation.

So, to order online help, you need:

- go to the site mvs.gov.ua or hsc.gov.ua;

- Sign up through an electronic digital signature (EDS) or BankID;

- fill in the form, indicating a convenient center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

- Receive a message about the readiness of the document or check the online status of online readiness;

- Take the certificate in the selected service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Separately, Arsen Avakov emphasized the convenience of a new service for all participants in public tenders. "Since the certificate of absence of convictions is necessary for tenderers, now more than 200,000 ProZorro purchasers can order electronic digital signatures and submit them online," said Arsen Avakov.

He also said that residents of remote settlements, too, can take advantage of the innovation: to order a certificate of absence of conviction online, and therefore - to get in the mobile Service Center, which serves their area.

"Step by step, we are opening new service centers, expanding the number of services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and introducing online technologies.
