There were Ukrainian-Turkish consultations
December 23, 2016 in the city. Ankara, Republic of Turkey, Chairman of LCA Maxim Sokolyuk took part in Ukrainian-Turkish consultations with discussion facilitation regime for citizens of Ukraine to Turkey.
The purpose of the consultations was to find opportunities to increase tourist flow that will contribute to deepening bilateral Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation.
During the consultations the Chairman of LCA presented Ukrainian experience with the introduction of biometric documents and their possible use for trips of citizens of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey.
The Turkish side acquainted with their own technical practices, and legal peculiarities, their experience in introducing biometric documents and features simplified travel for citizens of Ukraine on its territory.
Chairman of LCA Maxim Sokolyuk met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic Andriy Sybiha. The meeting discussed topical issues of migration policy in Ukraine and prospects of development of bilateral relations in migration sphere between Ukraine and Turkey. The Chairman of LCA familiar with the process of registration of biometric documents to citizens of Ukraine Embassy.
