Mikheil Saakashvili was transferred to the Republic of Poland under the procedure of readmission
In the framework of nationwide targeted preventive measures to oversee and monitor the implementation of legislation in the field of migration, the Administration of the State Border Guard Service and the State Migration Service of Ukraine, with the support of other law enforcement agencies, dated 02.22.2018, have been working out separate places for the concentration of illegal migrants on the territory of the city of Kyiv.
In the course of concerted interdepartmental workouts in one of the public catering establishments, a person without citizenship was identified Mykhailo Saakashvili, regarding which the Polish party, in response to the request of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, was granted consent for readmission in accordance with the Agreement between Ukraine and the European Community on the readmission of persons from June 18, 2007
Taking into account the fact that the decision of the territorial office of the Migration Service was negatively considered by Saakashvili M.N. on recognition of a refugee or a person who needs additional protection, which was recognized as lawful in court, the said person has lost the legal grounds for further stay in the territory of Ukraine.
In order to implement the bilateral international agreement on the readmission of persons Mr. M. Saakashvili handed over to the Polish side.
