Measures to detect violators of migration law are ongoing
From July 13 to 23, targeted prevention measures are being carried out in Ukraine to detect foreigners and stateless persons who are illegally staying in Ukraine. Migration workers together with National Police staff carry out working out of real and food markets, trading platforms, etc.
During the first two days (past weekends) of the practical stage of events, 773 inspections of objects where foreign citizens are massively carried out, 218 violators of the migration law were found, including 177 foreign citizens (for violation of the rules of stay in Ukraine), and more than 40 Ukrainian Individuals and legal entities that have provided assistance to foreign offenders.
In the course of the events, 67 foreigners who had no grounds for staying in Ukraine were found, in relation to 64 of them the decisions on forced return to the citizenship countries were found, and 1 court was satisfied with the claim of forced expulsion outside of our state. Regarding 10 migrants, the decision to ban entry into Ukraine for a term of 3 years, 8 foreign citizens has reduced the length of stay in Ukraine.
Offenders were imposed administrative fines in the amount of more than 100.1 thousand UAH.
