Deepening cooperation with Poland
September 26-30, 2016 in Ukraine the delegation of Poland Border Guard (hereinafter - Visitor Messages RP) led by Director of the Department of Immigration Chief Colonel RP Enlistment Visitor Messages Mr Andrzej Yakubashekom.
The main purpose of the visit was to launch a new project focused on strengthening the capacity of VMI in the return of illegal migrants from Ukraine, identification of foreigners and stateless persons and to identify other areas of cooperation. It is assumed that the project will be implemented during the 2016-2018 years.
During the visit, met with the Chairman Maxim Sokolyuk VMI, VMI employees and the State Border Service of Ukraine. The Polish delegation visited and got acquainted with the work of the detention of illegal immigrants in the village. Rozsudiv Chernihiv region, the temporary accommodation centers in Odessa., Main Department of VMI in the Odessa region, as well as the delegation got acquainted with the process of making domestic and international passports on SE "Integrated Printing Plant" Ukraine "on manufacturing of securities' current state registration of domestic and passport territorial divisions LCA, passport Service and work with SBS work with foreigners at checkpoints across the state border of Ukraine in the a / c "Borispol".
Overall, as noted by the Polish delegation, they were genuinely impressed by the achievements of Ukraine, the reform process to migration and ambitious plans for the near future.
Bearing this in mind, the Polish side assured that will take possible measures for successful implementation of the said project, especially regarding capacity building LCA perform tasks.
