The European Parliament signed a visa-free visa for Ukraine
In the European Parliament, a solemn ceremony of signing a legislative act, which for citizens of Ukraine introduced a visa-free regime with the European Union. As the correspondent of UNIAN reports, the document was signed in Strasbourg by the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani and the Minister of Interior and National Security of the presiding in the Council of the European Union of Malta, Carmelo Abela.
The ceremony was attended by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the rapporteur of the European Parliament on this issue Maria Gabriel. After signing the legislative act should be made public in the Official Journal of the EU. In 20 days the visa-free regime will come into force.
