Who are currently looking for in the labor markets of Ukraine and where the most vacancies
Employers are actively looking for experts in beauty and safety.
The number of vacancies is steadily growing, and competition is slowly but surely declining. Companies need to make more efforts to get a good specialist, says head of the expert-analytical center HeadHunter Ukraine Ekaterina Maschenko. Compared with February, in March the biggest increase in the resume was observed in the spheres of security, art / entertainment / mass media, counseling, beauty and sports, and working personnel.
The most active workers in March were looking for workers in Kropiwnytska, Volyn and Chernivtsi regions. The most popular are specialists in the sphere of raw materials extraction, home and working personnel, hotel workers, medical workers and teachers (school leavers on the eve of examinations and VNO need tutors). Also, with the advent of spring, employers begin to look for students and young specialists for internship programs and practices: summer is coming soon, and now it is necessary to store personnel for temporary work.
BECAME STRESSER. In the IT sector, sales and marketing, the number of vacancies fell. Nevertheless, according to hh.ua, it is sellers, representatives of IT-sphere, logistics, mass-media and marketing who find jobs the fastest: all because in these areas the competition is small - 1-2 specialists per seat. There are also areas where the process of employment can take a long time: according to the survey, every fifth specialist of state structures and every sixth specialist in telecommunications spent more than a year to find a job. An uneasy situation with the search and those who want to work in the oil and gas and financial sector.
OFFICIALLY. Positive changes are noted by the State Employment Service. According to Kostiantyn Kovalenko, Head of the Public Relations and Mass Media Department of the State Employment Service, the number of employers who work with employment centers increased by 21% in spring (compared to the same period last year) (now there are 83 thousand of them). "As of April 1, the number of vacancies announced by employers to the State Employment Service has increased by 50% compared to the same date for 2016 and amounted to 73,000 vacancies (plus 36,000 offers from other sources)," says Kovalenko. "And the number of unemployed at the 1- The number, compared with the situation a year ago, decreased by 13% and amounted to 407 thousand people. "
THE BENEFITS ARE GROWING. Since April 1, the minimum amount of unemployment assistance rose by 120 UAH and is 1280 UAH, according to the State Employment Service. "The innovation concerns only people whose insurance experience was at least six months before registration at the employment center," explains Konstantin Kovalenko, "They have the right to receive unemployment benefits, the amount of which depends on the amount of the salary at the last job, the insurance Experience and reasons for dismissal ".
The maximum amount of assistance can not exceed four times the minimum subsistence level for able-bodied people (6400 UAH), and they do not pay more than 360 days for 2 years (people of pre-retirement age, 2 years before retirement by age, 720 days). But the way to increase benefits, like the entire social policy of Ukraine until 2013, to put it mildly, is incorrect, believes Olga Pischulina, a leading expert of social and gender programs at the Razumkov Center.
"Cultivating benefits and benefits is investing in marginals, while you need to maximize people's motivation for employment, stimulate the labor market and support the middle class," she says. "Under such a policy, the middle class is the most oppressed. Shrinks in principle not only in Ukraine - this is a global global trend. "
But given that some politicians called for abolishing unemployment payments as such, the news of the increase sounds good.
THE INDEX OF INJURY. Recently, one of the world's largest agencies of financial and economic news published Bloomberg's Misery Index - Index of poverty, literally - of misfortune. In this rating, Ukraine has entered the top ten countries, where things are going badly. So, according to data and forecasts on inflation and unemployment, we occupy the 7th position among 65 countries (at the beginning of the rating - the most "unfortunate"). According to the agency, inflation in our country is expected at the level of 10% by the end of the year, and unemployment - 19% (according to official statistics of the State Statistics Service, in 2016 unemployment was 9.6%).
Consoles only that a year ago we occupied the third place - so, we can say, a little progress: our neighbors on rating are quite prosperous, at first glance, Turkey, Spain and Greece. In undisputed leaders on poverty - Venezuela, whose state of affairs, judging by the index, is 10 times worse than in the Republic of South Africa. But our strategic friends are in a much better position: Latvia ranks 19th, Estonia - 25, Poland - 28, Lithuania - 29, Russia - 21st. Well, a dozen of the most prosperous economies in this ranking consist mainly of "Asian tigers": Thailand (65th place), Singapore (64th), Switzerland and Japan (divide 62nd), Iceland, Taiwan, Denmark, Israel, South Korea and Hong Kong.
