The EU decided to fight With Libyan carriers of migrants
Foreign Ministers of the European Union decided to take a number of measures to reduce the flow of migrants to Europe from the Libya by the Mediterranean Sea. At a meeting held on Monday, July 17, they decided to ban, in particular, the export of inflatable boats and motors to Libya to them. Such equipment is commonly used by the Libyan smugglers-carriers of migrants.
In addition, the European Union freezes the property and accounts of legal entities and individuals involved in the illegal transport of migrants by the Mediterranean Sea. Most members of smuggler groups or their patrons also face a ban on entry. Heads of diplomatic missions in the EU Member States are hoping to strike at the business model of the organizers of the illegal transport of migrants from Africa to the European coast. Earlier it became known that the Government of Italy, which seeks to stop the flow of migrants to the country, has developed a draft code of conduct for non-governmental organizations that select migrants in the Mediterranean. If any organization refuses to accept the proposed conditions, its vessels may prohibit access to Italian ports and they will be forced to land rescued migrants in other countries.
