Odessa Customs DFS facilitates promotion to the EU market Products of Ukrainian manufacturers
During 7 months of 2017, 2954 preferential certificates for the transport of goods EUR.1 to Ukrainian goods exported within the framework of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU were issued to the customs.
This is 1005 certificates more than for the same period last year.
"The issuance of EUR.1 customs certificates for customs is one of the conditions of the Agreement. This document greatly simplifies the procedure for exporting goods to EU countries and promotes the competitiveness of Ukrainian producers in the foreign market.
The EUR 1 certificate gives you the opportunity to enjoy the benefits provided for in the European Union for Ukrainian-made goods. This, in particular, the cancellation or reduction of customs duties on Ukrainian products going to the EU, "said Oleksandr Vlasov, Head of Odessa Customs DFS.
The Head of the Customs stressed that promotion of the effective realization of domestic export potential is one of the most important directions of activity of Odessa Customs DFS.
"A significant increase in the number of certificates issued during the 7 months of the current year EUR 1 testifies to the fact that in the EU countries the demand for goods" Made in Ukraine "is increasing and that Ukrainian products meet the demands of the most demanding European consumers", - stressed Alexander Vlasov
According to him, Spain (19.1%), which imports sunflower oil, maize, wheat, oats and polymer mesh from Ukraine, is headed by the top three EU countries to which the most number of EUR.1 certificates has been issued by the customs.
Corn, sunflower oil, wheat, millet, nuts and steel wire products of Ukrainian origin were exported to Italy (16.9%) and millet, sunflower oil, corn, wheat, oats, soy, Walnuts, steel wire products, as well as sunflower seeds and flax seeds.
Neighboring Poland (8.8%) exports sunflower oil, sunflower husk pellets (pellets), steel wire products, honey, parts of footwear, disposable utensils and clothing.
Belgium (6.3%) imports Ukrainian corn, millet, sunflower seeds and flax, rape and even clothing.
Millet, corn, wheat, beans, nuts, steel wire products and non-alcoholic beverages - this is the main nomenclature of goods of Ukrainian origin, which are exported by Germany (6.1%).
Almost the same number of certificates EUR.1 was issued for products of Ukrainian producers, which were issued in export mode to Bulgaria (4.3%), in particular, millet, wheat, steel wire products, parts of footwear, yeast, margarine and plastic filling devices, as well as To Great Britain (4.1%) - to millet and nuts.
Alexander Vlasov noted that at the moment, in the area of ??Odessa Customs DFS, the basis of the nomenclature of exports to the EU countries of goods of Ukrainian origin, for which certificates EUR.1 were issued, is raw materials and semi-finished products. At the same time, forecasts of growth in the near future export volumes of finished products are rather optimistic.
Undoubtedly, EUR.1 certificates help Ukrainian goods overcome export barriers. However, according to him, the quality of the goods and their compliance with international standards remain the main gateway to European markets.
