That is why the July 28, 2016 was held scientific-practical seminar on the topic "Ukraine - Middle East: prospects for development. People's diplomacy. " Organized by the Center for International Relations with the countries of the Middle East Department of International Relations of the Odessa Office of the International Personnel Academy; International Convention for the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens "Shield" with the support of the public organization "Ukraine in Arabic." In the discussions of the seminar was attended by representatives of public and religious organizations, national minorities and the media. On the seminar was opened by the President of the International Organization of "The Shield" and director of the Center for International Relations with the countries of the Middle East Department of International Relations of the Odessa Office of the International Personnel Academy, Professor Mohamed Saleh Daguerre. In his speech he expressed the hope that the variety of nationalities and religions around the world will soon reach a consensus on the entire planet and there will be peace. Plenipotentiary representative of the International Personnel Academy, Professor Osipov Valery Borisovich, in his speech highlighted the need for an important aspect of relations between Ukraine and the Arab countries, and stressed the importance of public diplomacy in the formation of these relations. Another who expressed their views on the topic of the seminar was the chief editor of the information portal "Ukraine in Arabic," Dr. Mohammad Fardzhallah. Its comprehensive report he has devoted the topic of creating a bridge between the two cultures - Ukrainian and Arabic. Chairman of the Odessa regional organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Yuriy Rabotin, noted that the most important thing in this seminar - the authorities took into account the desire to help the Ukrainian civil society organizations and the Arab governments to normalize relations between the two nations. Religious position relations between Muslim countries and Ukraine presented Sheikh Ilyas Umarov, expressing regret about the perception of Islam in the modern world. Many terrorist organizations in the name of Islam, commit heinous acts, which are the greatest sins in Islam, stressing that terrorism has no nationality and religion. Vice-president of the International organization "Shield" added: "Palestine - one of the most acute problems of the Middle East and the world as a whole. We need joint efforts to fight for the recognition of an independent Palestinian state and the right of Palestinians to self-determination. " Also, an opinion on issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the Arab countries have expressed the representative of the Odessa regional TV Matyukh Oksana and many others. At the end of the seminar, all participants agreed to joint efforts to create a document that will make new adjustments in the future development of relations between Ukraine and the Arab countries.
