In modern conditions, formal education loses its monopoly, because it does not give one hundred percent guarantee of integration in the labor market. The best skills, skills, and professional knowledge can be obtained during practical professional activities. When a person is refining his knowledge and skills on a daily basis, but the relevant document does not show that the employee has high qualifications, the employer has reason to refuse the employee to increase the salary or to transfer to more paid work.
In Ukraine, there are educational institutions that have the right to confirm the results of informal vocational training. Confirm your knowledge and skills in the "Cook 3rd Grade" profession and get an education document by employees through the Employment Service. In the Odessa region it is possible to do it at the DNZ "Odessa Center of Professional and Technical Education of the State Employment Service".
This year, 10 inhabitants of Odesa region confirmed their qualifications, passed examinations successfully and today they successfully work as cooks in public catering establishments.
So, a resident of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky district Lyudmila since 2005 has been working as a master of production training at the Starokozatsky Professional Agricultural Lyceum. Studying the students for cooking, she improved her skills at the workplace, but did not have the appropriate evidence of her knowledge. On the website of the State Employment Service Lyudmila learned about the possibility of confirming the results of non-formal education and turned to the employment center for help.
In September, Ms. Lyudmila successfully passed exams at the Odessa Center for Technical Education of the PES and received a certificate of qualification "cook" in 3 categories. Currently Lyudmila continues to work in an agrarian lyceum, already as a qualified chef specialist.
Employees of the educational institutions of the city of Reni Svetlana and Yarina also expressed their desire to confirm their competence and obtain a state-owned document. They passed the state qualification certification and received certificates of the state standard on the attribution of the working qualification "cook" of 3 categories. Stalevich Yarina expressed his sincere appreciation for the new professional opportunities: "I would like to thank employees of the Employment Service and the Odessa Center for Vocational Education for the opportunity to get a specialty quickly and easily. Proficient educators and a responsive attitude to each student add confidence and facilitate the process of passing exams. And a testimony that confirms my knowledge is a guarantee that I will be provided with work now and in the future, "she said.
Tetyana Shevchuk, who also became a cook of the 3rd level with the help of the employment service, is confident that now work on the specialty will bring merely pleasure, because she is a certified specialist in her case.
I shared my impressions and the worker of the public nutrition department of the Podilsky border detachment Alexander Sobyanin, who was impressed by the conditions of the exam - modern cuisine, equipped with all the necessary and wonderful conditions for practical classes. He is sincerely grateful for this opportunity to confirm his professional skills and is confident that this document will open up new opportunities for him in his professional career.
We invite all those who wish to study at the DNZ "Odessa Center of Professional and Technical Education of the State Employment Service", because here it is possible to get not only knowledge, but also confidence in the professional future.
