The Office of the LCA of Ukraine in Zhytomyr Oblast hosted a hardware meeting on the basis of the results of the official activity in January 2018

The UDMS of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region summarized the work of the territorial units of the migration service for the first month of 2018.

Opening the meeting, the head of the regional Department of Internal Affairs Mr. Alexander Radko said that the reform of the State Migration Service of Ukraine is underway, due to the urgent need to increase the efficiency of implementation of tasks entrusted to the DMS and the introduction of modern transparent procedures for the provision of quality services, elimination of corruption, queuing through the introduction of the system electronic queue.

Having considered the results of the operational activities of the structural and territorial divisions of the UDMS for the first month of 2018, it was noted at the meeting that due to the implementation of organizational and practical measures, work in the spheres of migration, citizenship, registration of individuals was improved.

The Office has established the cooperation of territorial units with Administrative Services Centers in all rayons and cities of the oblast. Thanks to cooperation with rayon state administrations and city councils, the number and procedure of their provision have been agreed upon.

Since the beginning of the year, the employees of the Office and territorial units of the Migration Service of the region issued 10 thousand 775 passports for traveling abroad with a contactless electronic carrier, which is almost three times more than the corresponding period of last year, 3 thousand 169 passports of the citizen of Ukraine were issued in the form of an id card, which also doubled in 2017.

All indicators of the service of the migration service of the region have been improved on an orderly basis, and on separate positions twice or thrice.

In January of this year, the Office of the LCA of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region transferred almost UAH 4.3 million to local budgets.

69 violators of passport and visa regulations were brought to administrative liability.

Summing up during the reporting period, the head of the Office, Alexander Radko, emphasized the quality of the provision of administrative services by the employees of the service, attentive and polite attitude towards the citizens, strict adherence to the executive discipline and warned against possible manifestations of corruption.

According to the results of the hardware meeting, an appropriate decision was made.
