Recently, employees of department on work for foreigners and stateless persons Migration Service
Khmelnytsky summed up the work in 2016 on documenting foreign nationals staying in the area.

As of 31/12/16 till of registration of foreigners and stateless Management Migration Service area in the region is 5370 foreigners and stateless persons, 4925 of them, were allowed to immigrate to Ukraine and documented permanent residence permit and 450- temporarily staying in Ukraine.

During 2016, the department on work for foreigners and stateless persons were executed and issued 435 permits for immigration to Ukraine to foreigners, most of which are entitled to the citizenship of Ukraine territorial origin, including 32 granted within quota. In turn, in accordance with Article 12 of the Law "On Immigration" canceled 48 permits immigration.

Executed 769 certificates of permanent residence in Ukraine, including 407- foreigners and stateless persons who have received permission to immigrate to Ukraine. In connection with obtaining a work permit for religious activities in Ukraine, international aid projects and for family reunification issued and published 233 and 247 extended the validity of certificates for residence.

Prolonged term of 260 foreigners and stateless persons, 203 invitations were issued during the year for foreigners to obtain visas to enter Ukraine, including 158-invitation to individuals and 45 at the invitation of legal entities.

In addition, employees of the department to work for foreigners and stateless persons permanently engaged in "round tables", seminars and meetings with representatives of law enforcement bodies of executive power and local self-government in matters within the competence of the Migration Service in terms of documentation and legality of stay of foreigners and stateless persons in the region.
