Working meeting with the mission of EU experts
17-19 February LCA work was carried out on a mission of EU experts to assess the criteria first block of the second phase of the Action Plan on visa liberalization for Ukraine (Block 1 - "Document security, including biometrics").
When working with the mission of the Ukrainian side provided answers to the questions of experts on the implementation of legal acts adopted in the framework of the implementation of Phase I (legislative) Action Plan to liberalize the EU visa regime for Ukraine, namely the introduction of passports of citizens of Ukraine for travel abroad with an electronic chip containing biometric data.
Also during the mission experts familiar with the state of manufacturing, personalization, issuance of passports to citizens of Ukraine for travel abroad with an electronic chip containing biometric data. To this end, the experts visited the service center citizens "Passport Service" SE "Integrated Printing Plant" Ukraine "on manufacturing of securities" and checkpoints of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine at the international airport "Borispol".
The meeting was attended by representatives of LCA and other government bodies involved in the implementation of the Action Plan to liberalize the EU visa regime for Ukraine, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, State Service for Special Communications and Protection information, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Supreme Administrative Court, the Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights, SE "Integrated Printing Plant" Ukraine "on manufacturing of securities" Working apparatus Ukrainian Interpol Bureau and others.
